Intro

Every August, Helen Wang—the owner and creator of TCMC—celebrates her birthday by holding a site-wide sale. As if that wasn’t enough, she also releases new and exclusive items! Most—if not all—of the new items will fit into a certain theme.

And this year is no different.

The theme for this year’s birthday sale is Day to Night ☀️🌝 and as of this moment, here are the items that will be available to purchase for the 2024 TCMC Bday Sale:

How does a hybrid sale work?

Over the last eight years, TCMC has grown to be one of the most popular sticker shops in the world. So naturally, it becomes a bit of a rush once the items go on sale to grab them all before they get sold out.

BUT Helen and her team have come up with the perfect solution: a hybrid sale.

The hybrid sale means that, for the more specialized items (i.e. anything that’s not a sticker sheet), certain quantities will be in stock the day of the sale (don’t worry, the TCMC team now keeps a lot of each item), but the sale lasts for a few days, so it is normal for some items to become sold out.

Enters the preorder option.

If an item is no longer available, you will have the option (until the sale ends) to preorder said item at no extra cost! Quantities are also unlimited in the preorder option (so if you want to buy 20 washi tapes, you can! Whereas the in-stock option is often limited to 1 or 2 per customer.)

The only drawback is that a preorder can take up to three months to reach your doorstep.
Because the items are not in-stock in the TCMC warehouse, they have to be ordered from the manufacturers once the sale ends.

But if you’re in no hurry, it’s a great option to make sure you can get the items you really want and you don’t have to beat the rush.

N.B.: However, note that since shipping is paid once per order, if you put in-stock items and preorder items in the same order, the entire order will not ship until all the items in that order are ready. Which means it can take up to three months to get the whole thing, even your in-stock items.
