First Impressions

I’ll be honest—I was a little worried. 😅
Pipsticks is a super popular sticker brand, but their usual style leans bold and loud. That’s great if it’s your thing—but I tend to gravitate toward softer, quieter colors. Pastels, gentle patterns, a touch of whimsy… that’s my happy place. ☁️🎀

There were no past boxes shown on the site, so I went in completely blind—not even knowing if the style would match mine.

EEEK! So much stuff!! And so much Sanrio cuteness! 😍✨

Thanks to the website, I knew how many items were coming, but seeing everything in person is a totally different kind of joy. Every time I looked at one sticker sheet and went “oooh!”, my (short) attention span immediately got pulled to the next sparkly surprise. 💫✨

I had to go through the contents twice just to take it all in!

While the subscription is technically listed as being “for kids,” I’d say that—with the exception of the activity booklet—it’s absolutely perfect for any Sanrio lover, no matter your age. Stickers don’t judge. 💅💕

🐧 Wait… Is That Tuxedosam?!

If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you already know who my favorite Sanrio character is: Tuxedosam—the dapper little blue penguin in his bow tie and sailor hat. 💙🐧

Sadly, he’s often overshadowed by superstars like Cinnamoroll and Kuromi, so finding anything with Tuxedosam on it is… a challenge. (And trust me, I’ve looked!)

But—guess what??
This subscription had Tuxedosam! And not just a cameo—he’s featured on multiple goodies! 💙✨ I might’ve squealed a little. Okay, a lot.

📦 What Was Inside – The Actual Content List

Okay, okay—enough squealing (for now). 😅

Here’s what was actually included in my first Hello Kitty & Friends Sticker Club package—complete with pictures! 📸💕

Unpacking it all was such a treat. Most of the items are subscriber exclusives, and there’s a wonderful variety of sticker styles: flat, puffy, sparkly, scented, vinyl… you name it. ✨💖

And that resealable pouch? I am definitely keeping and reusing it. It’s covered in bows and sparkles and is just way too cute to toss. 🎀💫

Items I Liked A Little Less 🤔

It’s inevitable—no subscription can hit every single note for every person, and that’s totally okay! 🎶💌
While I truly loved most of the goodies in this pack, a few didn’t quite hit the same squeal-of-joy level for me. 😅💭

For instance, the Fluorescent Fun sticker sheet just wasn’t my vibe. I’m not much of a neon girl—it’s a bit too loud for my usual pastel aesthetic. But hey, that’s totally personal! 💡🌈

Same with Cutest Collection. It’s absolutely adorable (I mean, those faces! 😍), but the design felt a bit more on the accessible side—almost like something I might’ve found at the dollar store. Not a bad thing, especially for a kid-friendly subscription, but it didn’t wow me like some of the others did. 🛍️💕

Speaking of washi… okay, I know this is a sticker subscription, but I would’ve loved a little washi roll or two in the mix. (Yes, I’m a washi addict. 🌀💖)

And finally… Magical Times.
I don’t know what happened there, but the color palette? Just… no. 😅 There’s so much yellow, and poor Badtz-Maru looks like he has jaundice. 💛👀

On The Flip Side… 🌟

Now let’s talk about the items I absolutely LOVED in this pack:

First off—anything with Tuxedosam gets an automatic vote from me! 🐧💙 But my ultimate Tuxedosam favorites? The puffy stickers. Look how round and squishy he is! ✨

Another highlight was the tiny head icons—so fun! 🎉 I’m planning to use them in my calendar to mark Sanrio characters’ birthdays. (It’s just too bad Tuxedosam didn’t make it into this set… sigh.)

And finally, the scented stickers were such a lovely surprise! I was expecting them to either have a faint scent that faded quickly, or to be overwhelmingly strong—but they’re perfect. 🌸✨
The stickers don’t smell at all unless you scratch them, and even after a few days, they still release their scent when scratched. Impressive! 👃🍓

So… Is It Worth It? 🤔💸

I want to say “yes,” but the honest answer is: it depends. 😅

If you’re a Sanrio fan, then YES—100% yes! 🎀💖
But if you only love one character, you might find yourself a little disappointed from time to time, since the spotlight shifts each month.

If you’re in the U.S., then yes, it’s definitely worth it! ✨

However… if you’re in Canada like me 🍁, you might get a bit of sticker shock (pun fully intended 🙃) once you see the final price.
That $24.95 USD turned into almost $40 CAD a month after shipping, taxes, and conversion. 😬
It’s a bit steep if you’re on a tight budget—but I’ve also seen sticker packs priced higher that weren’t exclusive or nearly as cute!

So it really comes down to what you’re looking for—and what your wallet says. 👜💬

A Few Weeks Later… ⏳💌

It’s been almost two weeks since I received my first Pipsticks x Hello Kitty subscription pack, and honestly? I’m still just as impressed as I was on day one. ✨💖
The number of items, the variety, the quality—it all makes me so excited for the next envelope to arrive! 📬🎀

Since I’ve started using a few of the goodies, I wanted to pop back in with a little update. 📝💕

First things first: the stickers I’ve tried so far are seriously well made. They’re thick, they stick beautifully, and they feel super premium. Most definitely worth the price! ✅💗

Small caveat though—the Chococat labels and washi strips? Absolutely adorable. 🐱💙
They’re printed on matte paper, so you can write on them with any pen (yay!). But they stick to their backing so well that they curl a bit when peeled. If you place them on thinner pages, they might cause a little bit of paper warping. Nothing major, but something to keep in mind! 📄✨

That’s it for the mini critiques!

Lastly, I have to confess—it took me a few days to really flip through the activity booklet. But when I finally did, I noticed something weird… one page felt thicker than the others. 🤨

Upon closer inspection, I realized it was actually two pages stuck together—with a little dotted tear line on the edge. Naturally, I had to see what was hiding inside. ✂️👀

And when I gently tore it open… look what I found!
