👻 Happy Halloween!
I love Halloween. And I recently discovered that I love escape rooms. So this year, I decided to treat myself to a mix of both! 🎃🔐✨
Even though it was a little out of my price range, I splurged on SumLilThings’ The Haunting of Mistwood Manor bundle — and honestly, zero regrets.
I was literally jumping up and down when the parcel arrived. I couldn’t wait to tear into it! And finally, last weekend, I dove in… 💖
📦 First Impressions
The parcel came in a bulky but simple brown envelope with “SumLilThings” in the top left corner. That was all I needed to see — I basically sprinted into the house with it, as if I was protecting a magical artifact from the outside world. (Which… I kinda was.)
Inside the brown envelope were two beige padded envelopes.
Two??
Yep.
One held the Haunting of Mistwood Manor box itself, and the other contained freebies and one item that was simply too big to fit inside the official box. Intrigue level: rising. 🕯️📮
🎁 The Freebies
Okay… honesty time.
I was a little disappointed. 😕
For the price of the bundle, I expected a touch more magic in the “thank you” items or at least something that felt extra-special.

I received:
Normally I would be thrilled about a new washi roll, but this one’s design felt a bit bland — and it didn’t feature any of the Misfits, the adorable SumLilThings characters we all love. A tiny bummer, but hey… the main box was still ahead. ✨
🎁 The Bundle Contents
The bundle came packed with a large variety of goodies — I was super excited about that and it did no disappoint! Here’s everything that was included:

👜The Bag
Okay, this item got me genuinely happy. The XL tote bag features the Haunting of Mistwood Manor artwork with Lil (the bunny) and Nohnoh (the baby dino) exploring the manor together. 🐰🦕🏰
I adore that little dino — he’s one of my absolute favorites! And the design shows little ghost bunnies lifting him off the ground. His panicked yet adorable expression made me giggle out loud. So the bag is big, cute, and definitely something I’ll get a lot of use out of!
📚 The Box
The box itself is so pretty — it features the full Haunting of Mistwood Manor artwork, and the sides look like the pages of a book. The back even mimics a book blurb, which is such a clever touch! The only downside is that the text is gold-foiled, so photographing it is tricky. So instead, here’s what it says:
Join Lil and Nohnoh in their spookiest adventure yet! After a fun night of trick-or-treating, the duo takes shelter from a sudden storm in a mysterious Victorian manor. But once inside, the door slams shut, trapping them in a house filled with eerie whispers, haunted secrets, and a dark curse. Lil and Nohnoh must solve puzzles, uncover hidden clues, and lift the manor’s curse to escape. Can they outsmart the spirits and make it back home, or will they remain trapped in the manor forever?
Prepare for a thrilling Halloween escape room adventure filled with mystery, fun, and a dash of fright!
My only real disappointment? The box is made of thin cardboard, and it didn’t survive the postal journey completely unscathed. 😕 But thankfully, everything inside was perfectly fine, so I’m calling that a win!
✨The Stickers
Washi paper sticker sheets
I have very mixed feelings about these. As much as I love washi tape, washi stickers just don’t hit the same for me — they always feel a bit… faint? flimsy? lesser somehow (I can’t explain it 😂). Maybe it’s the transparency!
So when I realized these were washi paper stickers (yes, I should probably have read the listing more carefully…), I was a little bummed. But! They’re still cute enough that I’m happy to have them.
Some designs are a bit repetitive, but there are two standouts:
- The sheet with the possessed furniture — so clever and original!
- And the Nohnoh-at-the-piano sheet… I mean, COME ON. 😍 I adore it so much that I’m genuinely debating ordering extras. (Luckily, most bundle items can be bought individually!)
Vinyl stickers
Now THIS is where the sticker magic really happens! I absolutely LOVE every single one of the vinyl stickers. The colors, the expressions, the details — they’re perfect.
And the Nohnoh ones? Instant serotonin. Especially the little bookish one — that’s an immediate mood booster! 📚💖 Now to find the perfect spot for it… 🤔
✏️The Pencil Case
happy dance 💃 I LOVE it!
It’s a sturdy metal pencil case with the Haunting of Mistwood Manor design on the front, and although it looks thin, you can actually pack a surprising amount in there! I’ve been tossing it (literally) in my work bag — lovingly nicknamed the Toss Bag — for a whole week, and guess what? Not a SINGLE dent! 🏆
My only regret? I wish it were wide enough to fit my Tombows… but that’s okay — I have a million other pencil cases to baby those anyway. 😉
📓The Notebook

I love, love, LOVE notebooks! They’re pure magic — little books of possibility. And this one? Ugh. Perfect.

🎀The Washi Tapes
Three tapes?? YES PLEASE.
I was so happy to see a trio of washi goodness in the bundle!
The designs are familiar — they match the washi sticker sheets and vinyl stickers — so part of me hoped for something new… BUT they’re still adorable, especially the transparent PET tape, which looks so good on the page. 😍
Specs (for fellow tape nerds 🤓):
- All PET material (transparent, waterproof-ish, plastic-y feel)
- 15mm wide
- 10m long
🏰The Washi Tape Tower
The superstar of this whole bundle! 🌟 (And one of the reasons I wanted this bundle!)
It’s an acrylic tower with a refillable shaker charm background — beautifully made and ridiculously cute. AND the shaker bags are changeable! You can get extra themes on the website and swap them out. (Why does shaking them bring me so much joy?? 🤣)
Tiny downside:
It only fits three standard rolls.
But honestly? Since the bundle comes with exactly three matching tapes, it feels intentional and perfect. 💜
👻An Extra Item?
This little treasure wasn’t even listed as part of the bundle — and I’m SO glad it was included!
It’s a tiny ghost inside a magnifying glass, like a magical trinket that lets you peek into the spirit world. ✨
And the best part?
👉 It’s a bookmark!
You clip the paperclip part at the top of your page, close your book, and the ghostie charm dangles at the bottom like a spooky little secret. Absolutely adorable!
🌟 Top 3 Favorites of the Haul
It is so difficult for me to pick only three favorites… but if I have to, I’d say the notebook, the mini-ghost bookmark, and the Nohnoh vinyl sticker with the books.
Oh—but I love the pencil case, too! And the Nohnoh piano washi sticker sheets! And the shaker charms are SO CUTE! And—
…Okay, I give up. It’s impossible. 😅
At least I know my husband’s favorite: the bag! 👜
