When it comes to getting things done, having the right tools on hand can make all the difference. Iβm one of those people who needs their desk to be organized and filled with cute, functional things that make me smile and keep me productive. Today, Iβm sharing the five items that I always keep on my desk, plus a bonus item that adds a little extra joy to my workspace. Letβs dive in!
1. Sharpie Fine Point Pen in Black Ink βοΈ
First on the list is my trusty Sharpie Fine Point Pen. It’s my go-to for everything from jotting down quick notes to outlining ideas for my next project. I love how smoothly it writes and the boldness of the black ink. Whether Iβm scribbling in a notebook or marking important documents, this pen never lets me down. Plus, thereβs something about the fine point that makes my handwriting look just a little bit betterβat least, I hope so. π

2. Corrector Tape β¨
Mistakes happen, and when they do, I want a quick and clean way to fix them. Thatβs where my Wite-Out tape comes in. Itβs so much easier (and neater!) than liquid correction fluid, and I love how I can write over it right away without worrying about smudging. This little tool is a lifesaver when, like me, you want everything to be just perfect.

3. Metal 6-Inch Ruler from TheCoffeeMonsterzCo π
I know what youβre thinkingβa ruler? But hear me out! My 6-inch metal ruler from TCMC is an essential tool that I canβt live without. Itβs perfect for when I need to draw straight lines, measure something quickly, or even just tear off a piece of washi tape with precision. The metal design gives it a nice weight, so it doesnβt slide around on my desk, and it cuts the washi tape with ease. Itβs one of those underrated items that you donβt realize you need until you start using it every day!

4. 3″x 3″ Post-It Notepads (in pastel colors, of course) π
What would a desk be without Post-Its? I keep a stack of 3″x 3″ Post-It notepads in each pastel color right next to me at all times. These sticky squares are perfect for jotting down reminders, leaving myself (or others) quick notes, and adding a pop of color to my workspace. I would be at a constant loss without these little guys!

5. Monet Colors Aesthetic Highlighters & Pilot Frixion Pastel Highlighters πβοΈ
I couldnβt live without my highlighters, and Iβm lucky enough to have two sets that I adore. First up are the Monet Colors Aesthetic Highlighters from Kawaii Pen Shop. These are my go-to when I want to add a soft, pastel touch to my notes or planner. The colors are so gentle and soothing, and the medium-size felt tip makes highlighting feel like art!
But I also have my trusty Pilot Frixion Pastel Highlighters, which bring a whole different kind of magic to the tableβtheyβre erasable! These highlighters have a regular, harder tip, which gives me more control over it. Plus, the erasable feature is a game-changer. If I make a mistake or change my mind, I can just rub it out and start again.
Having both sets on my desk means Iβm always prepared, whether I want a soft aesthetic touch or the flexibility to erase and refine.

Bonus: Desk Pots That Spark Joy πΏ
I couldnβt talk about my desk essentials without mentioning the adorable pots that hold them all together. Iβve got a cute dinosaur-shaped pot and a pink minibus-shaped pot that I use to store my pens, highlighters, and other small items. These little pots add a playful touch to my desk and make me smile every time I see them. Theyβre the perfect blend of fun and function, and they keep my workspace looking tidy while reflecting a bit of my personality.

And there you have it! These are the five items (plus a bonus!) that I keep on my desk at all times. They not only help me stay productive but also bring a little joy and creativity to my workday. What are your must-have desk essentials? Share them with meβIβm always looking for new ideas to add to my collection!
