Who doesn’t love sticker kits? They come packed with a bunch of stickers that all match, so you don’t have to go hunting for ones that fit together. But let’s be real, those sticker kits don’t last long at all once you start using them. Sometimes, I can finish a whole sheet in just one planner spread for the week! Wouldn’t it be awesome if you got more in the same kit?

Sticker Rolls?
For a bit now, the Washi Tape Shop (WTS) has been delighting us with their fantastic washi sticker rolls, which are like rolls of washi tape but with an exciting twist – instead of one long design, they’re cut into a variety of adorable patterns! When you pull them off, you get these charming kiss-cut washi stickers! The best part is that since they come in a roll, you have plenty of each design, which is absolutely perfect if like me you fret at the idea of finishing a sticker sheet! And while it can be a bit of a challenge to track down that specific sticker sometimes, it just adds to the fun of crafting!
I have bought washi sticker rolls before and I’ve always enjoyed using them, but now that WTS has introduced PET tape sticker rolls, I’m absolutely thrilled!
PET Tape?
PET tape (which stands for polyethylene terephthalate tape) is a plastic tape that is both water- and tear-resistant, featuring vibrant colors that stand out more than the softer hues of washi tape. And while the tape itself is transparent, the designs are a bit less see-through compared to washi tape.
Being that they are waterproof and sturdy, you can stick the stickers to almost anything and since their borders are transparent, it leaves the design to pop against whatever background you choose to stick them to!
My only con is that the stickers are a little harder to peel off the tape because of a small raised border that is created during the cutting process, but it’s no biggie. You can stick a small piece of removable tape on the sticker to peel it off the PET tape, but for me, playing with my stickers and washi tape is me-time so I’m never in a rush to peel off a sticker!
WTS provides both material options for many of their designs, allowing you to choose between PET tape or regular washi tape for the same price, or you can even indulge and get both! 😃
This time around, I decided to get the Haunted Harvest design in PET tape because I believe it was WTS’s first attempt at a PET tape sticker roll. They’d made PET tape designs before but never STICKERS and I was excited to see how that turned out!

This order from the Washi Tape Shop contains three different sets of sticker rolls: Haunted Harvest (one roll, PET tape), Haunted House (3 rolls, washi tape) and Midnight Mischief (3 rolls, washi tape). And without further ado, there they are! 👀
Haunted Harvest
I’m so happy that I went with PET tape for this one because the colors are just amazing! The orange, crimson, gold, and black really pop, and since the tape is see-through, the border around the sticker just blends right in with whatever you stick it on, making it look awesome!
At first, I was a little bummed that this set came with just one roll of sticker tape, but once I rolled it out and saw how many cool designs there was before I hit a repeat, I got why one roll was enough! How many designs exactly? Check out this short video to find out!
Haunted House
This set is not available in PET tape but it doesn’t matter because it’s absolutely gorgeous in washi tape! 😍 I love the muted, earthy tones and the almost-undefined borders of each design giving everything an air of spooky watercolors (which is one of my favorite medium).
The set contains three rolls which gives sooo many different designs that I can’t even count them all. But you can expect a wide variety of all the haunted classics beyond just the haunted houses like black cats, ravens, ghosts, full moons and spooky trees! Check out the video below for a full look!
Midnight Mischief
CATS!!! And what’s better than cats? MAGICAL cats, that’s what! This three-roll set features adorable black kitties who seem to be up to no good. Mushrooms, potions and magic are just some of the elements that go with these cats in every design. Only available in washi material, I was a bit worried that the colors wouldn’t pop as much but it wasn’t the case at all! These cats are bright and bold with all the magical colors like teal and purple. Best. Cat. Tape. Ever!
Final Thoughts
So there you have it: my latest WTS order with all the spooky stuff! Which one of them caught your eye? I seriously can’t decide which one I like best…
The Washi Tape Shop change their Halloween collection every year, so I always look forward to discover what they got for us every fall. But it also means that they don’t keep a stock past a certain date, so these sticker rolls sets that I just showed you may not be available anymore in a month or two. But that’s okay; it keeps their stock fresh and and their website fun to browse regularly!
Good to know: although they started in Canada, their items ship from China, so if like me you’re in North America, take into account longer delivery times and possible custom fees when you order from them. But they put great care into the products they make, their washi tapes are good quality and their designs are totally unique which makes it totally worth it!
