OnceMoreWithLove Subscription Review: Is Letters with Love Worth It? 💌

A short while back, Margaret from OnceMoreWithLove launched a new subscription. Since her style is similar to TheCoffeeMonsterzCo. (and so many of you couldn’t grab a TCMC subscription), I thought I’d give the OMWL subscription a try.
You know… for science. And for you. 😌

💌 The OMWL Subscription: Letters With Love

A gold embossed art print celebrating ten years of OnceMoreWithLove

To celebrate 10 years of OnceMoreWithLove, Margaret added a cute stationery mail club to her shop: Letters with Love.

It’s a $12 USD monthly stationery subscription (roughly $16–$18 CAD depending on the exchange rate) and includes:

  • 💌 A handwritten letter from Margaret
  • 🎨 A mix of stickers, art prints, and other hand-drawn surprises
  • 📮 Free shipping, with the option to skip or cancel anytime

Margaret also shares sneak peeks of the upcoming month on Instagram (which you can totally avoid if you love surprises!). I’m still not 100% sure whether the previews go up before or after renewal, but I personally like being surprised.

✨ Why Did I Subscribe (For Real)?

The biggest draw for me was the idea of receiving an actual letter in the mail.

When I was younger (back when the internet was barely a thing), I was part of several pen pal clubs. ✍️ I had pen pals from France, Japan, Australia… and I loved receiving their letters. Even if their lives seemed ordinary to them, it felt like traveling the world for me. 🌎

Okay, Margaret lives in the same country as I do, but it’s still so fun to peek into the life of a mother, artist, sticker designer, and shop owner at the other end of our country (I’m in Quebec, she’s in British Columbia).

Besides, there’s something truly magical about real mail. ✉️

📦 First Impressions

I’ve just received my second month of the subscription, so it felt like the perfect time to share my official stationery subscription review. 📣

  • A brown envelope with a cute design, a letter titled "On new beginnings", and other stationery items such as a sticker sheet and a postcard about writing and sending mail.
  • A brown envelope with a cute design, a handwritten letter with adorable drawings on it and titled "On the passing of time and me", a black and white postcard with cute characters celebrating and the words "Happy birthday to you" on it, a sticker sheet in soft teal and warm yellow colors with designs that reminds the passing of time like a candle and an hourglass, and other items such as a card and vinyl stickers about the passing of time.

First, I love the fact that Margaret designs a new themed envelope every month. That attention to detail is rare, adorable and so thoughtful. 💌

But the letter is the true star. 🌟
I know it goes out to many subscribers, but it always feels like she wrote it just for me. The first two letters were warm, fun, and full of little glimpses into her life. She even includes small brain teasers at the end, which is such a cute touch! I love puzzles!

The stationery items (vinyl stickers, postcards, etc.) have been varied so far. And because Margaret wanted the launch to feel extra special, she says in the letter that she added a few more extra items. January was also her birthday month, so again she included more goodies to celebrate.

A 2026 magnetic calendar with a cute design.

I haven’t received a “regular” month yet, so I’ll update this section once I do.

That said, I loved everything. The vinyl stickers were surprisingly high quality (especially the holographic one), the soft colors of the sticker sheets are completely my aesthetic, and the magnetic 2026 calendar went straight onto our fridge. 🧲

💸 So… Is It Worth It?

Honestly? Yes… in its current format.

But since these were both special months for Margaret and OMWL, I’m not sure how many items will be included in the regular months, so I may revise my opinion later. 🤷‍♀️

While $12 USD is on the cheaper side compared to many sticker subscriptions, I personally think it would be a bit pricey if the envelope only included:

  • one sticker sheet
  • a postcard
  • and the letter

What do you think? 🤔 Would that feel worth it to you?

💭 Final Thoughts

To conclude, Letters with Love is perfect if:

  • you miss receiving real letters in the mail
  • you love soft, gentle, pastel designs
  • you enjoy kind, honest, behind-the-scenes messages from artists

Are you subscribed to Letters with Love? Or to another stationery subscription?
I’d love to hear your thoughts! 💬
