Confession time: I used the βSelf-care Monthβ theme as an excuse to orderβ¦ self-care stickers! ππ And they literally just arrived, so enough talking this week β more sparkling! β¨ (Well, they donβt actually sparkleβ¦ except maybe the washi tapes.)
β¨ Why I Shopped
Sometimes, when I feel sad, stressed, or overwhelmed, I have a reflex: reach for a bag of chipsβ¦ or visit a stationery shop. (Neither is ideal, I know: one is bad for my health, the other is bad for my walletβ¦ π )
If youβve ever cured a bad mood by clicking βadd to cart,β youβre definitely not alone. (I actually dive a little deeper into this in my latest newsletter β you can subscribe here so you donβt miss the next one! π)
Two weeks ago, I was feeling a little down while checking my emails⦠and there it was: an update from Hubman & Chubgirl.
They were relaunching an old collection with new items β but even better were the sales! Every week, they discount a few themed collections for 7 days only β and that week, it was the Self-Care Bear collection. Needless to sayβ¦ I splurged π
I couldnβt wait to tear open the packages and see all the cute designs in personβ¦ and now itβs time for the fun part! π₯³
ποΈ What I Bought
The Packaging π¦

Because I bought a larger item (more on that in a minute π), my order arrived in a plain brown shipping box.
BUT.
Everything inside had been packed with so much care by the team. π
The larger item was wrapped in its own protective bag and laid flat at the bottom of the box so it wouldnβt bend out of shape, and the smaller items were tucked neatly into one of H&Cβs happy mail boxes instead of being tossed loosely into the big brown one.
Nothing rattling. Nothing squished. Just thoughtful packing all around. β¨
The Self-Care Bear Collection π§Έ
I grew up watching the Care Bears, so of course I adore H&Cβs Self-Care Bear collection. The designs are ridiculously cute, and the wordplay makes me chuckle every single time. π

The quality is fantastic, as usual. The stickers are printed on creamy, vinyl-like paper with crisp colors and sharp details. Everything feels sturdy and smooth, and the designs? Absolutely adorable. β¨
The collection is actually bigger than what Iβm showing here. I only picked the items that really fit my life and current situation. But if youβre curious about the rest of the collection, you can check it out right here!
The Other Stuff π
Of course, I bought more than just the self-care stickers. Thatβs the thing about βself-care shoppingβ β it suddenly includes every single item that makes you go, βOooh! I need this!β ππ
So here are the other things I absolutely, definitely βneeded.β
The Sweets Town Collection π¬
I have a serious sweet tooth, and gummy bears are my favorite treat. So obviously, I could not pass up the Sweets Town collection. π
I had already received a few items through my subscription, but I needed more stickersβ¦ and the washi tapes were calling my name. Loudly. π
Just like the Self-Care Bear collection, everything is amazing quality. But I have to say, Iβm especially obsessed with H&Cβs washi tapes because they come as a mini bundle of two different but matching rolls, which makes coordinating a spread ridiculously easy.
The Arctic Winter Collection βοΈ
I grabbed a few sticker sheets from the Arctic Winter collection because theyβre ridiculously cuteβ¦ and because I live in Canada.
So even though spring might technically be around the corner, letβs be honest β winter is still very much a main character over here. And these stickers are 100% seasonally appropriate. βοΈ

The Cozy Bookworm Journal Buddy π
The Cozy Bookworm collection was released last year (if my memory isnβt playing tricks on me), but the bag is a very recent addition (like two weeks ago)β¦ and I just HAD to get it.
I love reading.
I love journaling.
It was basically destiny. ππ
The Cozy Bookworm Journal Buddy bag is gorgeous and surprisingly roomy! It has one large main compartment inside, with no divider, which I actually love because I can organize it however I want. There are small interior pockets to slide in pens, a large zipped pocket so smaller items donβt disappear into the abyss, and a bottle-holder pocket with elastic at the top to keep it in place. Plus, the bag closes with a zipper, so everything feels nice and secure. β¨
On the outside, thereβs an open pocket at the back for quick-grab items. The front pocket, which closes with magnetic snap buttons (the straps are just decorative), is bigger than I expected and perfect for sticker sheets, washi tapes, or even my wallet.
Little downside? I wish the bag were made of waterproof material, since most of what we carry in a journal bag is paper and pens. And I also wish it were pink instead of green. Because pink is objectively the best color of all. π
π BONUS: Freebie Set
Shopping at H&C can sometimes feel like giving yourself a gift because of their βfreebie sets.β If your order total (before taxes and shipping) reaches a certain amount, you qualify for a freebie bundle.
This time, thanks to the bag, I reached the threshold very easilyβ¦ and I received the I Love You freebie set! π
It included:
- 1 A5 binder
- 8 heart-shaped paperclips
- 12 “Love words” washi flakes

The items in the set are exclusive and cannot be purchased separately, but if you like the I Love You collection‘s design, there are stickers available! π
π Final Thoughts
So were these buys necessary? Probably not.
But did they make me smile? Absolutely. π
And maybe thatβs the whole point of self-care stationery. It doesnβt solve problems β it just adds a little brightness to our days.
I canβt wait to start using these new additions in my journal and planner β expect to see them pop up in future spreads! β¨
With this happy little haul, I think that officially wraps up our Self-Care Month. π Thank you for following along, reflecting with me, and now unboxing with me.
If youβve enjoyed this theme, I share a few extra thoughts (and behind-the-scenes rambles) in my monthly newsletter as well. π You can subscribe if youβd like to keep the conversation going.
