Unboxing My 1st Hubman & Chubgirl Order (Part 2): The Cozy Cat Box Set! 😺

As promised, here is part two of the unboxing of my rather large first H&C order! Even though I bought a LOT in that first order, I added a box set because I wanted to see if it would be worth the investment (H&C box sets range from $80 to $115). The Cozy Cat Box Set was on sale at the time and featured adorable cats, so I couldn’t resist! And once again, I was delighted by the fantastic quantity and quality of the items in the box. Let’s have a look at what’s inside! 👀

Flatlay of the entire Cozy Cat box set's content.

The original box set contained:

  • 1 variety sticker pack (set of 7)

(NOTE: The Cozy Cat box set is still available in the shop but it has been updated and no longer includes the tote bag. ☹️)️

Order Content

Design inside the shipping box showing cute, cozy cats.

First of all, let’s take a moment and just look at how cute the inside of the Cozy Cat box is! 😍 I absolutely LOVE the shades of cornflower blue and peachy orange that Chubgirl selected for this set. It’s so peaceful and soft. 🥰

Since I ordered more than just the box set, that box was packed into a bigger parcel and was completely undamaged in the shipping so now I can use it as a cute storage box! YAY! 😃

Stationery and extras

A tote bag, enamel pin, and journal from the Cozy Cat box set.

The first things I checked out were the “extras” (you know, the stuff that’s not stickers or washi tapes). I skipped the full description of the box’s content on the website because I wanted to be surprised by what I’d find in there, and man, was I surprised! 😮 Here are the extras:

Tote bag

The canvas tote bag (which is no longer available, so I won’t go on about it) is nice and large with strong handles, and those heat transfer vinyl designs really stand out against the soft periwinkle background.

Enamel pin

I’m not usually into enamel pins, but this one just might change my mind! I mean, come on—cats and books together? 🥰 It doesn’t get any better than that! This pin is thick and well-made, with a layered piece, vibrant colors and precision engraving that match the original design perfectly. The edges are silver, and on the back, it has two pins and two round black rubber backs to keep it secure.

(If you want, you can buy the Let’s Read pin on its own for $10!)

Dot grid journal

This journal is seriously one of the prettiest ones I’ve got! 😍 It’s an A5 hardcover with 144 dot grid pages on 115 gsm paper. It has a back pocket, a pen loop, and two handy ribbon bookmarks. I’m totally in love with the cover design and softness! I haven’t been brave enough to write in it yet, but hit me up if you have!

(You can also grab the Cozy Cat journal on its own for $32!)

Stickers and washi tapes

Washi tapes

First off, the washis! Both designs shine with a lovely silver foil finish and are a generous ten meters long, giving you tons of tape for your projects. The Cozy Cat roll is 10mm wide, while the Cloud Kitty one is a slightly skinnier 7.5mm. They’re gentle little touches that can really brighten up any planner or journal with that gorgeous cornflower blue vibe of the set. Sure, they’re a bit slimmer than your average H&C washi tapes, but sometimes that’s just what you need, especially when you’re running out of space in your planner! 🤭✋

(You can buy the Cozy Cat washi tapes—sold as a set—for just $9!)

Planner kit

The picture above doesn’t do this kit justice. The Cozy Cat planner kit is not only beautiful with its stunning silver foil, but it’s also highly functional: deco boxes, large boxes, small boxes, list boxes and banners, habit trackers, date dots, day covers, and more! 🤯 With six 5″x 7″ pages worth of stickers, you’re sure to find just what you’re looking for!

(You can buy the Cozy Cat planner kit (set of 6) separately for only $20!)

Variety pack

This is one of the things I love about H&C, and I’m super happy it’s included in most box sets: the variety pack! 🤩 It’s seven sheets of stickers of all kinds, from vinyl ones to transparent paper ones in matte, sparkly, or foil finishes. They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, and they’re perfect for making stuff look good or getting stuff done!

(You can buy the Cozy Cat variety sticker pack separately for just $12! This one especially is a great value!)

Die-Cut vinyl stickers

🥰 How CUTE are these little kitties? These five die-cut vinyl stickers measure about 1.5″ to 2″ tall and are made from the best quality 3M vinyl I’ve seen in die-cut stickers so far. Also, I love that, because of the way they’re cut, there’s a small backing border left making them easy to peel! 👍

(You can get the Cozy Cat die cut stickers (set of 5) for just $6!! Whoa!)

Sticker sheets

As I was opening the box set, it felt like I just kept finding sticker sheets! 😂 Eight sheets total; that’s a loooot of stickers. The set includes three sticker sheets (the bigger ones with a colorful background) and five planner sticker sheets (the smaller ones with a white background).

The larger sheets offer a smaller sample of the twenty-three designs 😵 in this set—each design being represented only twice (in mirror style) while the smaller sheets offer three to five copies of each design. But the sticker sheets make up for it in size because their stickers are twice as big as the stickers on the planner stickers sheets!

So not only do you have a ton of choices when it comes to the design, but you have size options as well! 😃

(You can also buy each sheet individually so here’s a list of the sheets included in the set, from left to right in the picture, back row first:

The planner stickers sheets especially are great value items as they offer twenty-five high quality vinyl stickers per sheet for the lowest price in the box set!)

Final Words

In conclusion, Hubman & Chubgirl’s box sets are SO worth it! 😍 The Cozy Cat box set includes over $140 worth of items for only $95! 🤩 How amazing is that? And if you’re lucky (like I was) and get them on sale, it’s even better!

So while we’re on the subject of good news: Hubman & Chubgirl are having a Black Friday Sale on all box sets and bundles this week only (until Thursday November 28th)! ✨

But I must warn you: if you decide to step into this rabbit hole, there’s very little chance you’ll leave empty-handed. 😁️

Also, if you’re into the Cozy Cat collection but aren’t in love with everything or don’t wanna blow your budget in one go, no worries! You can browse the whole collection right here!
Happy shopping! 🛍️

(Now, which box set do I want next?…🤔 The Let’s Travel one? Would be super handy! Although the Woodland Mushrooms one just makes my heart melt… aARgH! Why is this so hard? 😣 Which one would you pick?)
