August 2024, OnceMoreWithLove (OMWL) held a washi tape preorder, and I instantly fell in love with a few designs! 😍 As with most preorders, it took about three months for the tapes to be manufactured, shipped, and finally reach my door. But by the time they arrived, I was pretty sick 🤒, so the package sat unopened… until now! 🎉

As the name implies, OnceMoreWithLove is a love affair—one that started with a search for passion. Years ago, owner and designer Margaret worked in dentistry, but the spark just wasn’t there. She then moved on to visual effects for movies, hoping to find that missing piece. But once again—no spark. 😕

Then, one day, a friend asked: “Can you design some stickers for my planner?” And just like that, the spark ignited… and turned into a roaring fire 🔥 of creativity! Margaret had finally found her true calling.

And so, it was time to try a new career… once more, with love. 💖✨

🛒The Preorder

This preorder instantly caught my attention because of one specific design… but I won’t reveal which one just yet! (Can you guess? I’ll spill at the end! 😉)

I already had a few OMWL sticker books from Michael’s, but this was my first time trying their washi tapes. While looking up past preorders, I noticed something: some older designs were still available, but others had completely vanished! 😱 I couldn’t risk missing out, so I added my favorites to the cart!

And now, they’re finally here! 🎉 Let’s unbox them! 🎁

🎀 The Unwrapping Experience

My package arrived in a simple brown padded envelope, but the real magic was inside! ✨ The washi tapes were beautifully tucked into a cellophane envelope with the cutest printed design! Such a thoughtful touch that made unboxing extra special. 🥰

🎁 And the freebies? Adorable! I received a lovely journaling card and some Munchkin stickers dressed as famous Canadian animals—which made me laugh out loud! 😂 The Dream Big Jar vinyl sticker was another favorite. Such an inspiring little bonus! ✨

And then… the washi tapes.

• Paler designs can be slightly see-through 🔍
• Long wait time for preorders ⏳

All in all, I was super impressed! For sure, I will keep an eye out for OnceMoreWithLove‘s next washi tape preorder! 💖
