For years, Iβve been a Happy Planner girl through and through! π The cute covers, colorful layouts, and disc-bound system (hello, customizable inserts!) have kept me coming back year after year. And donβt even get me started on the joy of decorating each spread with stickers! π₯°
But latelyβ¦ Iβve noticed something. I havenβt been using my planner as much. π² And I keep seeing so many adorable Hobonichi-style setups that it got me thinkingβ¦ should I try something new?! π

π Happy Planner vs. Hobonichi (β¦Sort of!)
Hereβs the thingβI donβt love the Hobonichi itself. The cover is just too plain for my taste. (Yes, I could sticker bomb it, but still!) I needed something cute, fun, and still functional with daily spreads and a sleek notebook feel.
Enter the Hubman & Chubgirl planner! π It has that minimalist but still stylish vibe I love, but with layouts that work better for me and look at that cover! π
β¨ Why Iβm Making the Switch! π
π Size & Portability β As much as I love my Happy Planner, sometimes I want something a little slimmer and easier to toss in my bag.
π Fresh Layouts β A new planner means new ways to organize my lifeβand Iβm totally here for that. π‘
π Because Itβs Fun! β Letβs be realβ¦ half the fun of planning is trying new things, testing layouts, and playing with stickers. π
π Will I Miss My Happy Planner?
Um, YES! 100%. Iβve loved my big, beautiful pages for so long, and I know Iβll always have a soft spot for them. But who says I canβt switch back if I feel like it? Planning should be fun and flexible! (Just like our schedulesβ¦ hopefully π).
ποΈ My Plan for Q2!
Like breaking in a cute new pair of shoes, I need some time to adjust and make this planner mine. So, for Q2, Iβm setting up my new H&C planner, testing it out, and (of course) sharing all my thoughts along the way. Will I totally fall in love? π Or will I be running back to my Happy Planner by Q3? Stay tuned! β¨
